Kritter!
We need to have a Virtuas FAC up here @ the Maxi Mini Mansion. Round up the troops and come up. We have enough room for everyone, get tanked and hang out. And if we get our 4th Pug we'll almost be able to designate a pug for everyone.

Hi there Kaybear
I actually did the gluten cut back way back when, around 2004 or so. I'm not as religious about it as I should and doc's have said that, for me, it doesn't have that much effect on things but said " it can't hurt to limit intake" - but they say that for everything with me. ;-) I do limit intake of gluten still however and you're right, it's hard to find food except WholeFoods does have a fair selection. Affordable too. Taste,.. ehhhh you should see how I dress, I have no taste. Thanx for posting and reading my li'l blog here and thanx for caring enough to share your thoughts. Means alot.

Are you sure it's corn and not the gluten in all types of grains? I've heard good results from people who've gone gluten free, and now King Soops is advertising a gluten free section to make shopping easier (except I haven't been able to find it).
Better days are ahead, I promise. Hubby is enjoying life and no one would guess that a few years ago he was where you are now. Im really interested in what you do with diet as I have an inflamatory disease too, thanks for the site!

Hey there Maxicakes. Glad to hear you're making some progress. Crazy about the corn... I've been hearing a bunch about that with regard to inflamatory stuff. Rent the documentary "King Corn"... right along those lines. Also, that author you've mentioned... I read an article he wrote called "power steer"... VERY thought provoking. Give her a read...

Miss you so much and would love to see you soon. Any chance you'd like to come to town if I planned a Virtuas FAC at the Wyncoop? Maybe a little group therapy with the crew would be the best meds!
Love you buddy!

Glad to see you post Max! I know its an uphill battle, just hang in there! I know what a pain it is to read the labels, after awhile you get faster at picking out the key words without having to read the full ingredients label....lol. I have to read every label as well. Hope you get better soon! Still thinkin of ya!
